Shepherd Property Consultants proudly took the helm in the comprehensive refurbishment of Hanover House, a modern four-storey office building located in a key spot on Coombe Road, adjacent to Norbiton train station. Our project management expertise was pivotal in this ambitious makeover, aimed at elevating Hanover House into a premier office destination.

Hanover House, while benefiting from its proximity to direct train services to London Waterloo and major commuter routes like the A3, needed a significant update to meet modern office standards. Our goal was to transform the second-floor suite into a high-quality, open-plan office space, rich in natural light and modern amenities, spanning approximately 2,847 sq ft (231 sq m).

We began by overhauling the main entrance and reception area, giving Hanover House a striking, welcoming face. Recognizing the needs of today’s workforce, we added new shower facilities, essential for those cycling to work or exercising during lunch breaks.

A key part of our refurbishment was replacing all windows throughout the building, enhancing both aesthetics and energy efficiency. The workspace itself was upgraded with a focus on comfort and functionality: a suspended ceiling, efficient fluorescent lighting, plush carpeting, and a reliable comfort cooling/heating system.

Understanding the importance of first impressions, we also revamped the building’s exterior. New signage was installed, and the whole building painted black, elevating the building’s profile in the bustling Kingston-upon-Thames area.

The upgraded facilities, combined with its strategic location, have made it an attractive proposition in the Kingston-upon-Thames office market. The property is now available at an asking rent of £19.50 per square foot, offering a modern, connected, and comfortable workspace for businesses.
